Although Joy Davis has yet to release her debut album, shes no stranger to performing. A graduate of Dallas esteemed Booker T. Washington School for the Performing Arts, Davis has countless live and studio gigs under her belt, having sung back-up for an eclectic array of Austin artists including Patrice Pike, who just happens to be her big sister. Joy actually performed with her sis at the last two ACL Festivals, but this year marks her Festival debut singing her own songs (country-leaning, rockin singer-songwriter fair) and fronting her own band.
