Founded in January 2003, Houstons the Anointed Voicez is an eight-man gospel group whose members singers Min. James Sayles and Min. Ezell Dillard, singer/guitarist Charles Walker, Jr., singer/keyboardist Randle Arvie, keyboardist Deqoure Sayles, bassist Quincy Derry, guitarist Lester Sneed and drummer Jemarcus Young have more than 70 years worth of combined gospel music experience between them. Within four months of coming together, the Anointed Voicez recorded their first album, Sweet Old World. With the records seamless mix of traditional quartet and contemporary gospel music and the Anointed Voicezs spirited live performances its easy to see how the group has managed to become one Houstons (and Texas) fastest emerging faith-based acts in recent memory.
