Sangeet Millennium Ensemble and Aashish Khan: Monarch Event Center ROADSHOW
To celebrate his 70 years, World Music Grammy nominee Aashish Khan is strumming the golden strings of his sarode, a lutelike classical Indian instrument. Son of sarode master Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and nephew of sitarist Ravi Shankar, Khan has musical bloodlines that trace him back to the court musician of a 16th century Indian emperor.
